I know this is a little late, but here is my Monochromatic Monday post. Check out others at Monochromatic Weekly Theme.

That picture makes me think of Philip Marlow and classics like the Big Sleep.
Don't worry about the Monday thing - it is a weeklong theme.

Very kewl monochrome image ... love the shadows! I'm glad to know I'm not the only one playing mid-week and I'm relieved to know it's a week long activity ;--)
Hugs and blessings,

I so often lie in bed thinking of how a picture similar to this would look, and every time I have come out with a negative answer.... however you have inspired me to try it, since it obviously works very well. It looks great. I think this must surely be in contention....

This is beautiful. My aunt in Milwaukee has gotten into photography and wants to start her own business, and I was looking through these two amazing books she had on her coffee table: The Americans ("Moving Out" and "Looking In"), by Robert Frank, and American Prospects, by Joel Sternfeld. Frank does a lot of black and white, and Sternfeld's landscapes remind me of that photo you took of your little cousin walking by the cannons.

It is amazing I see my blinds all day long - never noticed they are so dreamy :) Thank you! I will never look at my blinds with same eyes again!
