Classic Cars

I am not at all a car person. I know nothing about them, and as long as my car gets me to where I'm going and doesn't lose pieces on the way, I'm happy.

However, I will admit that the bright shiny restored classic ones can be a LOT of fun to take pictures of. There was a classic car show at the multicultural festival I attended recently (see entries below), and I had a lot of fun photographing the cars.

The results are below.

Light a Candle For Me

More photos from St. Patrick's Cathedral in NYC. I'm not Catholic, so I'm not sure of the entire significance of these candles near the entrance of every cathedral I've ever visited, but they're beautiful and I love the idea of lighting a candle for someone.

I really love this close-up. I like the way the flames reflect off of the glass holders in addition to showing from within them.

Or how about black and white?

Fire Hydrant

I like this one. I don't really know why, it's rather blah. The colors, I guess. I like the bright yellow and red next to the white and little patches of green. Oh well. No accounting for taste!
